There I was, perusing my email, when I ran across a KSF newsletter. I wasn't in any buying frenzy, but a couple of Northwoods caught my eye. The Northwoods are impressive knives, which I will no doubt be adding later, but I digress. I navigated to the KSF website just to see what else was there. As I have always liked Schatt & Morgan knife designs, but have never owned one, I decided to check there first. Under the File & Wire section, I discovered a folder that stopped me in my tracks. It was a Schatt & Morgan File & Wire - Kentucky Shiner and it had all the features that I like in a pocket knife, saddlehorn pattern (correct me if I am wrong), single blade, D2 steel and Stag. At 3 3/4" long overall, it is the perfect size for me and my pocket. And now to haunt the mail box. Image below of actual knife with credit to Knives Ship Free.
