There I was, perusing my email, when I ran across a KSF newsletter. I wasn't in any buying frenzy, but a couple of Northwoods caught my eye. The Northwoods are impressive knives, which I will no doubt be adding later, but I digress. I navigated to the KSF website just to see what else was there. As I have always liked Schatt & Morgan knife designs, but have never owned one, I decided to check there first. Under the File & Wire section, I discovered a folder that stopped me in my tracks. It was a Schatt & Morgan File & Wire - Kentucky Shiner and it had all the features that I like in a pocket knife, saddlehorn pattern (correct me if I am wrong), single blade, D2 steel and Stag. At 3 3/4" long overall, it is the perfect size for me and my pocket. And now to haunt the mail box. Image below of actual knife with credit to Knives Ship Free.

WOW - that's a great looking knife you have there Al, look forward to seeing more of that one!

Thats a lovely knife. I know its tough to wait, surely you have others that can keep your pockets from feeling lost and empty in the wait.:D

Thanks, Chris. Well, I do have a stag #23 that will hold me over for a bit. :)

Very nice.
mine is golden root worm groove and ATS34 but that one is Stag-O-Licious.

Looking forward to some in the wild shots of this one and a first hand report...it caught my eye in the latest edition of
AG R's catalog...

Thank you all, Gents! I'll be giving this one a review for sure. And Derrick, I don't think you are evil, impish perhaps, but not evil. ;)
