I am really excited about this knife! Looking at the handle, you can easily see how I arrived at the name "derringer".

It is a double edge knife with a 2-3/8" conventional "V", flat ground blade. The OAL is only 5", so it will be a super concealable blade. The knife is only 3/8" thick as well, so it will lay very flat.

It also can be held like a push dagger, and is surprisingly comfortable when holding it this way. The hole is 7/8" in diameter, and fits me nicely. Some folks with thicker fingers may have trouble holding it in this manner.

The scales are textured G10 with brass tubes.

I hope you like it as much as I do.

peace,

mg

You have some of the best sd knives going, this one rules! Very effective looking, as a utility knife also.

Wow...Thanks!

I wanted to make something small...I had the image of a double barreled derringer in my mind when I was making this...I just needed to translate that into a knife.

It was a pleasant surprise to find out that I could hold the knife much like a push dagger. Even though I have not punched anything with it yet, it feels very secure in my hand when being held this way. Talk about a bonus :D

*shudder* dang that's a nasty little guy...

I love your work. You're one of my favorite knifemakers.
