im sure alot of you fine folks have seen the movie 'dersu uzala', but how many have read the book;
dersu the trapper 'a true account' by v.k. arsenive?
i saw the movie a few weeks ago and just had to get the book. man im glad i did. what a wonderful book. it goes into much greater detail than the movie ever could.
i enjoyed it on so many levels. what an amazing man and relationship. i recommend it to anyone who enjoys bushcraft and wilderness...

Coincidentally I'm reading it now for the second time. Pretty interesting stuff.
