Does anyone know if des Horn haas an email address,and what it is? I am very interested in a folder of his that I saw.
I do not think that he has a web site, but I am not sure.
If anyone knows his phone number in South Africa, I will try that if it is the only way to contact him.

Thanks Hilton, and thanks for the email as well. I have contacted des and now all i have to do is save enough money for the knife that I want.

Keith . . . don't save . . . SPEND . . !!

Des is an uncompromising knifemaker in terms of materials used, construction, heat treatment, etc. At the end of the day you'll get a good looking knife which can work as hard as you'll ever wish it to.

Believe me Hilton you don't have to convince me that des makes great knives. The one that I want will cost about $2300.00 Canadian and that will take me awhile to put together.
