Describe your ideal chopper knife (pics are welcome!)

For clearing bushes and the occasional thin branch (and maaaybe batoning if I left my axe at home), what type of chopper would you guys recommend? In terms of blade length, shape, steel, and weight? I’m considering a 600 gram 12 in. blade 5160 bowie knife for chopping applications. Descriptions or specific products would be helpful.
