Could we have some descriptions & specs along with the prices, please. I've got some tough choices to make. Unfortunately for my chances, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

Yeh they should have specs though and prices...i am guessing prices will come out later

Click the Ganza link in my sig. Usually the prices are out a day or two before - Sometimes not until the "Go!" post. Specs are usually pretty sparing... Assume the specs are the same as the base model the variant derives from - You won't always be right, though! Sometimes you'll be in for a surprise.

I've neglected to opt for something because of an ASSUMED blade thickness only to later discover I was wrong.

My advice? Become familiar (if you're not already) with the specs of the standard models over time. BadMojo is a reference site that has been around for a long time and Greg (Busse Collector) has put something together as well. If you like the model and price - go for it! Not what you hoped for? Trade or sell.

Not an exact science, I admit, but certainly a lot of fun!

Sorry I wasn't as clear as I assumed. I assumed everyone else was obsessed with the ganza also...yes, that's what I was referring to.
I'm reasonably familiar with the base models, but I appreciate the offer of info nonetheless. "Gladly would he learn, and gladly teach..." (paraphrasing Chaucer) is a great attitude, and helps make this a great place.
However, I'm still not sure whether some of the larger models are a variation on a satin jack, NO, SOW, or something else? If nothing else, could skunk please tell us the thickness? That's mainly what I'd like to know on the badgers, meaners & smaller knives. Thanks.

1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, & 3B are based on the SFNO (as is the SOW) and all the SFNO variants that have been coming out lately have been .220" thick.

2C is a ASH-1 variant and they have been .220" thick as well.

The BATAC variants (1C, 3C, 5A, 7A & 8A) appear to be a different thickness from the one(s) in the BloodBathAganzaaaaa which were .270" thick... but these don't look to be as thick to me.

Hope this helps. :)

Walking Man: You may well be right...on the other hand, if we're not pretty picky about cutlery, what exactly are we doing here at Busse?
