Desert Active Duty question

I did a search and couldn't find any information on Desert Active Dutys, were there many made?

As far as I know, that was an option only since the new website (and the new line) has been introduced. There may have been some customs or variants that meet that description but other than that...
 
Here is a pictue of the one I have along side a older custom shop regular one and a Desert Off Duty. I don't think the Desert Active Duty is one of the new ones you can order off of the website, that is why I asked about it. I am waiting to hear from the previous owner on how long he has had it.
 
Man I love the OD. I need an AD to match my OD. Maybe next go around, unless the company store decides to stock on in desert tan and SS nukarta. :D

You may be correct. But, from the way I read the Busse websight, there is a desert tan coat option and a tan micarta option available for the Active Duty. It appears that if you were to order it, it would be blade finish option #2 and handle material/color option A. I have not confirmed this with the shop but that's the way I'm reading the info on the site.

Additionally, you may be correct in that it was a custom or a one off from before.

Out of curiosity, has anyone else ordered a desert AD since the new site came up?
