Desert AS question........

I just received a Desert AS in the mail and it has the penetrator tip grind on it, is that normal for the Desert AS? I didn't see it on the CG models I've looked at. Thanks.

I can't say whether it's "normal", but I can tell you that my desert tan assault shaker does not have a penetrator tip.

My DTAS is nearly 5/16 of an inch thick. Are there any other fatties?

Neither does mine, it may have been put on as an after market service.

In, my black one has the penetrator tip... I asked for it to be done when i placed my order, as it is an option.

Neither my AS nor my Rat Shakers have the penetrator tip.

here is a good rule. NEVER ask for the penetrator. Ive worked a lot of emergency's and trust me. you can do without it. Rectum?! damn near killed 'em

If anyone has a chance, could you post a pic of a DAS with penetrator tip? I'd really like to see it. I remember a custom shop desert Badger that had a PT, but would be cool to see it on the assault shaker.
