Can anyone tell me how many of each of these series were made? Particularially interested in the # of Desert Duties.

I think they meant the Heavy Duty in the desert tan color...

Briggz, I'm guessing you mean the Desert Variants that were released in small quantities to the civilian market. I don't know the numbers.

33 heavy duty's were made in desert tan in the heavy duty model.

That top knife looks like a Public Defender in the desert dressing.

Went back and looked at the original post and it was called a Desert Defender.

Sorry for any confusion folks. Anyone know how many were originally issued, was this a varient?
