I have pieced this set together and I wanted to know from a collectible stand point is it worth more to replace with blade with a date correct unused blade or leave it as it is? I appreciate your assistance.

gyg, If your going to use it, leave it... I collect Bucklites and only use a few of them... It's very hard to replace the blade on Bucklites, because of the plastic handle... They Break real easy some times... If the handle is mint I would try to replace the blade for my collection if I didn't have one yet... You can always call Leroy R and see what he can do for you... But always do what's good for you... ITE ... :D

I should have been more specific as to my intetions, I want to increase the knifes value. I collect a small number of knives and I am always on the lookout for knives that I can trade or sell to meet my needs. My first "real" knife was a 422 bucklite and I have always had a special place for bucklites. I have a few new in the box and I have a handful of users that I will always keep. This particular knife was just an good investment and I want to increase its value. I appreciate your valued input.
