Hey all I was cleaning out my storage unit and ran across a few knives I forgot I even had. One of them was a SOG Desert Daggert 1 with the black finish. I never used the knife not even once for anything, just thought it was cool looking. However it this knife had to be pressed into service could it take the abuse. I know daggers and bayonets are not the best survival knives. Understood. However I just want to know that if needed could it handle task such as cutting rope food stuff, opening cans packages. I guess what im asking for instance would it be as tough as say a bayonet, just with a sharp edge? Why did SOG discontinue was it quality, sales, or some other reason?
