Wow! That is a beautiful looking pistol! Is that a 1911?! Please share some details. Oh...and the knife is cool too ;):p

Thanks! Yes, its a Kimber Desert Warrior .45 1911 with custom black micarta grips. One of my favorites. :) I think it looks good next to the Dogfather.

The Kimber Desert Warrior is probably my favorite Kimber too

Very nice 1911, and the aftermarket grips don't look bad either ;)

If you melt or shred the reserpine c handle off of that Dogfather and mod it a tad, it would make a hell of a bayonet for that Kimber, just saying :D

My favorite low key Kimber, and Dogfather too!

Great color combos, and great match there.

Love them both!

I've had bad experiences with Kimber, so I vowed to never buy one again.. but The warrior line is a fine pistol, and one I'm still considering one. IMO, one of the best looking "tactical" 1911s out there, but I like my guns with rails.

most kimbers are over the top for my tastes (I like the look of les baers because they look "more like a 1911"), but that one has a pretty classsic design, yet with very 2010 look. great look. what kind of finish is that?

Sweet looking pistol bud, the Desert warrior is high on my list but unfortunately because of my states screwed up laws I can't get one, the tan paint I guess is too tactical so I can only buy the black (Warrior) version.
As for the Kimber discussion, I hear arguements on both sides of the fence but I have to say I have a Kimber and a customized Springfield 1911 and you can't tell the difference in shooting them, my Kimber has performed flawlessly and I would/will buy them again. I was asking a local gun shop about why they are getting a bad rap as of late and was told it was due to their customer service/warrenty stuff. Regardless, that set looks like a match made in Heaven, congrats
