Desert Ironwood OVB

Will, Had to open presents tonight and much to my surprise there was a Desert Ironwood Hnadled OVB Jerry Fisk Bowie, VERY NICE! I got it as a gift from my boss, you know him, his son is the shotgunner shooter I mentioned. My question is what is the recommended treatment for the handle. I read and was told one time for desert ironwood that a good paste wax worked best. Is that true? If so any recommended brands, as I want to make sure I take good care of this knife. Thanks, John

I like to clean the handle well with something like Never Dull and then put a good coat of Rennaissance Wax on it - seems to work for all my collector pieces - same stuff used by many museums - a little more expensive but 7 oz. can will last forever.
