Just finished this guy up.

It is my #3 profile with lined Desert Ironwood. I love this stuff. It can take any knife and make it look better.

Thanks for looking,

Todd

Thank you!

It's a large 10" knife with a 5" blade and 4 1/2" cutting surface with 1 3/8" wide blade. 1/8" L6 carbon steel. 58-59 RC.

I like the specs, seems about a perfect fit IMHO to put in the hiking pack and rely on no matter what you throw at it!

Very beautiful knife, that ironwood just adds more class. Like the liners too, great package overall. Do you have a bird and trout pattern? That would be awesome in ironwood too.

Thank you all.

I don't really have a bird and trout model but my #1 profile is very utilitarian and I've butchered many upland game and fish with it.

Thank you all again for looking,

those look quite serviceable. I think they should do the jobs nicely. Good work. That ironwood is nice. I personally don't like liners on knives with forged finished portions. Not sure why, and it is just my personal taste. Not a criticism at all of your work.

No offense taken at all. To be honest, they aren't my favorite choice either but they do add "bling" and defiantly makes the knife pop a little more. I personally like the softness and mildness of hardwood with the rustic steel myself. That's what's awesome about knife makers in general... There are millions of ways to configure a cutting edge and there are new styles morphing every day.

Again, thank you all very much. I'm humbled by your thoughts.
