YEHH-HESSSSSSSS!!!!!! This is my grail knife. I searched for it on and off for two years! I followed threads and watched it change hands many times. Often times being only minutes late. Now its mine... and it will never re-enter circulation. Its due to be stripped tomorrow. Good by resale value!!! Mine mine mine!!! Lol!

You got yourself a good one there. I have known that you have been looking for some time, but have not had the heart (or lack of one) to throw pics of mine "in your face". I had one a long time ago and let it go only to find that I needed another (and have subsequently gotten another). There are very few knives I have let go of and regretted and this model was one of them. The Ratweiler was another.

I'm not saying anything about any other Busse family brand knives, but I tend to cherish the Swamp Rats the most.

And congrats on finally picking one of these up. Too many SRs sit around unused.
 
Definitely one of the classics. Ratweiler, Desert Jack, Dog Skinner. Man, they're just an excellent group.

I like the blade design alot. Haven't tried a handle that I can think of that looks similar, but if it works, two thumbs up. She sure is pretty.
