Another Desert Rose.

steel - D2 / 4.0 mm [5/32"]
length - 288 mm [11.338"]
blade - 150 mm [5.905"]
handle - emerald dyed and stabilized box elder burl, NS
guard - stainless steel, bronze, black vulcanized fiber
sheath - leather












 
Well thought out. Can't get over the dyed box elder. Its tops on my list.
 
Marvelous! AS ALWAYS Bona. I have seen lots of Box Elder Burl but that is top drawer, shape, fittings and sheath are all right on too. :thumbup:

SUPERB!!! The whole things is GREAT, but I really like how you did the guard and spaces...most excellent! I wonder how a bronze pin would have looked with that golden and green handle? Never mind, it wouldn't have matched the tong tube though.

NS pin and hole is also good, it looks almost like SS on the guard ;)
 
Wow. That is about all I can say. The handle is great but your blade shape and the grinds are what really moves me-Todd
