I was wondering how one goes about getting a blade in the desert sand finish...? i don't see it offered for the TGLB or the Argonne Assault.

I'm asking because when the NMFSH comes out i would love to get one in a desert sand coating. Is this ordered through the custom shop? If so, why is it that most, if not all desert sand blades that i have seen do not have the custom shop logo on them?

any info would help,
thanks

there is a desert tan they don't use anymore AFAIK but I'm not sure if its the same or not. It was really abrasive and I didn't like it like that, but it smoothed out pretty good if you rub it hard with a scalding hot wet rag. That left it matt and much more user-friendly

Desert sand.....not a usual coating option. Busse did a Desert Warfare set for the....spring (?) Knob Creek shoot a could years ago. Consisted of the Gladius, Boss Jack, and Bushwhacker Mistress.

Some B11s were done in it also, and I'm not positive, but I think I've seen 1 NMFBM with it.

Overall, kind of an unusual coating, probably done for special occasions. Never know, you might be able to get that coating upon special request and a lot of sweet talk.

to greatly simplify, I think sage is almost the same color, much more durable, and a much nicer finish.

Thank you very much for this info, I had no idea it was a limited run coating. I think I'll take your advice and try to sweet talk my way into it. i hope it works :D:thumbup::thumbup:
