The American Fighting Man has and always will rely upon worthy battle bladeware.

During Desert Storm I, the knife industry stepped up to the plate at the invitation of then Fighting Knives Magazine editor, Mr. Greg Walker.

Greg coordinated a donation program with America's finest cutlers to outfit an entire Special Forces company from the 5th Special Forces
Group (Airborne)before they left for war in the Gulf.

As many Forum readers are aware Greg is presently serving our Nation in the gulf region as I write this.

The American Tomahawk Company, founded by decorated combat veteran and noted CQB instructor Pete LaGana, is proud to announce its involvement in "Desert Storm II - Let's Roll!". ATC is coordinating with Greg and the very best American cutlers / manufacturers to once again put "good knives into the hands of good men" as preparations for war with Iraq continue.

Contributors to DS-II already include -

American Tomahawk Company
Kit Carson/CRKT
Emerson Knives
Strider Knives
Tactical and Survival Specialties

Charles Marlowe joined 1/5/03

Manufacturers and makers wishing to support "Let's Roll!" are invited to contact me at ATC via either email or phone. Between Greg and myself we have arranged a coordinated mailing/distribution system, as well as a means for the operator or solider recieving a donated item to thank the contributor of that item.

Please join me and those others mentioned above in the cutlery
industry's renewed support of our Troops Overseas. All contributions must be sent in a timely and efficient manner. Interested parties must contact me ASAP at ATC for details and instructions.

Now, "Let's Roll!"

Forum Folk can help support this effort by emailing your favorite knife maker or firm and encouraging them to help as they can. Just go to their websites and use the "Contact" button. A nice note from you makes all the difference in the world.

Andy,

A thought: how about we set something up at TAG to help make this happen?

Let talk!

Best,

Brian.

End date for DS2LR is end of this month.

Any donations must be sent by then.

As shared with Andy, anything sent after the end of the month is on its own.
