Desert Tan/OD Update?

Just wondering if the tan & green canvas RCs are still slated to be available on May 15th. I'm holding off on buying a second RC4 until they are, but do want it a lot.

I haven't seen any of the normal distributers taking pre-orders like they did for the initial release, so I'm wondering if there has been a delay. Thanks.
 
Several of the dealers and distributors already have OD and Desert on order with us. We're still looking at somewhere around May 15th on having them. May be a slight delay on the OD color due to us not liking the initial run of powder they specially built for us. The texture was not right.

BTW I want one to strip the coating off of anyway, since its primarily the green canvas scales I'm after anyway. So if you want to get rid of one of the prototypes without a satisfactory coating shoot me a PM and I'll take it for whatever you think is a fair price:)
 
Any Update on the orange scale handle model? I think you said you were shooting for some time around June 1st, is that still a go?
 
So far, so good. We're waiting for our textured powder to come in and then we should be good to go.
 
Do you guys know how the final desert tan coating will look like? From the current pictures, they looks a little light, but cameras always have a way of throwing color shades a little off. I think the lighter tan is nice, but I was hoping they'd be a little darker/brown like these swamp rat. And it would still be visible.

These shots almost make the tan look white.

The photo of the RC-3 is pretty close to what it actually looks like.
 
It does look whitish to me.... but I am still getting one!
I have wanted a RAT for awhile now, but wanted to avoid getting another black knife.
