Design philosophy of the Scorpius?

This knife is being touted as a great tactical knife for military or police. I am wondering what the design is supposed to do that other stainless handled Spydies don't. I like the looks of the knife, and was just wondering. The Gunting's and Civilian's designs are obvious. Anyone have any insight? Thanks in advance!

I guess the particular shape of the handles allows the butt to be used as a striker. Also the deep finger grooves ensure a tight grip, despite the SS handles, which, by definition, are slippery.

Thanks dialex. That's what I was seeing also, but just wanted to get someone else's input.

In my opinion its a worker. I ran across a deal and picked one up "for the collection" and ended up giving it to a loved one as a gift. She is mighty pleased with it. Needless to say, I'll be getting another "for the collection" very soon. Excellent knife. Sort of a radically updated C01 Worker!

I have been carying a Scorpius for a little over a week now and like it a lot. Think Spydeco Police only shorter.
