I was wondering if it is possible to get this version of the Night Sky but with a normal blade (so it's cheaper)?

I really like the titanium but all the Night Sky versions I see use silver now.

Also, is there a listing of every design they ever did anywhere? He doesn't have that many on his site and neither do any dealers, so maybe that's all he did. I figure if I'm going to get one I may as well just go all out and get exactly what I want rather than getting a plain one.

EDIT: Or like this?

And how do you know which are still available?

Yes; for instance,

I'm not following your question. Titanium is a material, and silver is both a material and a color. Can you clarify what you're asking?

Are you asking about every unique graphic Sebenza design that Lisa has done, or every version of the Night Sky unique graphic that she's created? If the former, I'm not aware of any exhaustive UG photo collection online, but one of the best collections of Sebenza images is the "Just Images" sticky in this forum. If the latter, I think not. Even if one existed, one you would order wouldn't come out exactly like one you'd reference in a picture. These Night Sky designs are custom, and no two come out the same.

I hope that helps. Best of luck with your Sebenza acqusitions!

Sorry, I meant to add the word blue in front of titanium :) I'm just not sure how free you're allowed to be with the designs, if you can specify stuff like that or if it's whatever they're doing at the time. I understand each is a reference, I just like the anodized blue handle more than the default titanium color, unless it's just the pictures making the handle slabs have a blue hint.

As for designs, I meant every unique design, not just the Night Sky ones. I'm not sure how to tell which ones are available and which ones aren't being made anymore.

I forgot about the thread here with all the pictures though, so I'll check that out again.

Thanks.

Call us up; talk to Heather, and Lisa. Toss up your ideas. We're pretty good at working with special requests, and we like happy customers. You can also email us. With email and snail mail you can flesh out your ideas, add drawings and pics, etc.
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
cheers,
Matthew Otto

Matt's right -- call CRK, and they can quickly tell you what is possible. In general, you can ask for a variation of any UG that you have seen (a photo is invaluable, BTW), and Lisa can do it. Exceptions to this guideline would include 1) if the unique was one in which a customer had submitted a design concept, CRK would likely pay a courtesy call to the original customer to get permission to reproduce the design, and 2) if the original project was such a bear to produce that they vow to never do one again. I've only heard of one case of #2, and that is my EDC. I believe Keith said something like, "we're never makin' that stinkin' design again." (His language was a bit stronger than mine. :))

Matt, did I miss anything?

NO swedges on 21's, EVER!
It's just easier for me to quit.

And NO POLISHED SERRATED FOLDER BLADES!

Ok, thanks. Which one is your EDC?

Matt, thanks for your response. I'll definitely send an e-mail when I finally decide to pull the trigger/decide exactly what I want. I'm not sure what a swedge is, but chances are I wouldn't want one anyway ;)

Eh, ever since Fooj posted that Night Sky one he has I think I actually do like the regular colored titanium instead of the blue tint. Leaving it the default color contrasts much better with the nice blue color of the design. Hopefully I'll get one before Christmas.
