Hi. I have been doing some knife designs and i wanted to ask you who are more experienced what you think about this one.
I used to draw my knifes by hand but now i have used a free cad program to draw them.
Please point out flaws in my design so i can better it before making the knife.

Any special reason why such a wide blade?

Something like this would be better if you ask me

What’s the intended use?
I think it will be much more comfortable with the natural curve of a person’s hand...and I also think that most knives have too much belly (unless they are intended as hunter/skinner)

Visually I don’t think your design has very good “flow”

Functionally it looks uncomfortable to hold

Dimensions would be good to know. Visually as it is now the handle looks short compared to the blade and the finger choil pretty sharp could smooth that whole area out a bit so it flows better.

I agree with others: dimensions would be helpful. I'd move the rear pin forward a bit and shape the front of your handle scale so it isn't straight. The way you have it now will leave a very narrow and sharp point on your scale just in front of the index finger. Not only will this likely be uncomfortable to your hands, it will leave such a thin cross section of material that it will likely break off with any moderate use.
I'd also be wary of the corner behind the index finger groove, as this could be uncomfortable to your palm in a reverse grip.

Making a wood or ply mock up is invaluable, we can all look at the design and argue about it all day.
Hold it and let others hold it, and that will save hours of arguing. Plus you get to see what angles and curves may be difficult for your tool set.
I do 3-4 slight variations with a design, each one only takes a few minutes to rough out.

I've recently started designing folding knives. The student that is tutoring me on Fusion 360 has a 3D printer and is printing my designs for me so I can hold them and get a better feel for them. That process is really working for me. The idea of either making a prototype out of wood or getting your CADing down to the level you can get your design printed would give you something tangible.

Ultimately, unless you aspire to sell them, it is all about you and your aesthetic taste. Holding a prototype in your hands should give you a pretty good idea.

Mecha is starting to remind me of this professor I had in college that always yelled at the class: "Go back to the definitions!". Any question or answer posed to him was met with that. As I age, I find his wisdom making more and more sense.

Hey, Bunker Hill Blades,
If you are missing something, so am I. Maybe the spikes are made of titanium, since that is what Mecha likes to work with.
Well if they were titanium then they wouldn’t be rusty 😉
