Just finished this ring Fighter and not sure I like the overall look.
Please give some input on blade design and handle material selection for the next one

Ring fighter made from 1/4" 5160,
differentially heat treated and cryo'd. Blade
is 6" long and knife is 11 3/4" OAL. Natural
Linen Micarta handle with brass pins and
thong liner. Full Convex grind.

Or the reverse of Marion's suggestion, lean out the blade. Long narrow blades look more 'fighter' to me. Short and tall looks skinner-ish, JMHO though.

As is, it is a fine looker. I don't think you should be concerned. I only offer the suggestion because you asked for opinions... and we all know that they are like noses

Now if you added stag handle scales....
Ebbtide out.

I have to agree with ebbtide, the main change i would suggest is a narrower blade. It would help the overall profile.

Have you thought about doing a version without a double edge? There are several different blades styles i'd love to see with a "Ring grip".
