Design the Busse folder!!!

Just for fun let's say Jerry called you and said he wants you to design the Busse folder. You have to spec out blade length, profile, handle, locking mechanism, materials...everything. Then you have to name it.


Let's hear what you have.
 
A few things to make it really wicked!
1) Bushing
2) rollerbearing pivots for totally smooth movement (not sure if it's possible with bushings.)
3) extra large pivot for strength
4) Nice and thick framelock OR solid button lock
5) Blade not too big or thick, no matter what anyone else says
6) A finger choil
7) A flipper (possibly assisted! :D)
8) swedge or false edge with a full flat grind
9) INFI and the infinity symbol on the backspacer!
10) lipstick marks! :D:D

Errrrrr, it has already been designed by Jerry, he just needs produce it!
 
MAKE SURE ITS LEGAL IN CANADA. that’s all I really care about. No auto's and can not be opened by gravity (can not be flicked open, or if it can be, you can tighten the pivot screw to make sure you cant).
 
I think Rick Hinderer and the Boss need to get together and start drinkin IN the Shop... Because I LOVE the X-18... & I KNOW that I'm gonna love the Boss' folder... but TOGETHER???? :eek: :eek:

Recent additions, a Hinderer X-18 (folder version) with a Firetac Extreme... They'll hold me until the BUSSE FOLDER and/or FLIPPER. :D

how about putting a nice solid hinge on the FBM, so it can fold up.
 
4" blade
Bushing/roller
Flipper and/or wave
4-position clip (Kershaw got it right on the money with their ZT line)
No goshdarned Torx screws
Oh, yeah, make the clip out of INFI. ;)
 
I was curious about the modified Badger, does it fold? What type of lock? How much for the custom work (if you don't mind me asking)?
