I have several SAK's and each has their own unique qualities. I wish I could customize my own.

I would love a one handed Trekker scaled down to a standard size model. I'd add scissors, a magnifying glass, a small blade, and a glass break on the end.

What would yours look like??

84/91mm, thin Alox scales (like on the Cadet II), 3 layers with:
blade, combo tool, scissors, saw.

84/91mm, regular plus scales, 3 layers with:
blade, combo tool, saw, in line phillips driver, magnifying glass, attached corkscrew, hook+file, tweezers, pin, pen, removable small screwdriver, toothpick

There's a couple Wenger configurations I would love to see:

85mm with Soft Touch scales - Mainblade/combo blade, Univ. wrench/inline phillips driver, scissors, awl/corkscrew. This would make a great EDC.

An Esquire that incorporated the bottle opener in addition to the scissors, file, and mini-screw driver for a neat air traveling tool.

The Evo S557 with a wood saw instead of the pliers. I don't really see the point of pliers on SAKs, since they're so puny. I've never been able to put them to good use. Also, non-locking main blade

On the Vic side of things, I would love to see more bails on the Alox line. The placement of the key ring digs into my palm, and irritates with extended use. Heck, I'd love to see any kind of attachment point on the Harvester and Electrician range of knives. They don't have a keyring, do they?

Explorer Plus, with an added woodsaw.

Spartan set-up with electrician blade instead of the small spear blade. With orange stained wood scales

OHT blade, but with the ALOX Pioneer handle, no blade lock just backspring, with scissors, saw, can and bottle opener, the pioneers awl.

A Victorinox Electrician Plus with scissors added and the bottle opener replaced by a can opener, that would be a great camping knife for me. But I would also be very happy if Victorinox could make alox versions of the Spartan, Climber and Huntsman.

Mine would be:
Alox with:
- large blade
- glass magnefyier
- Can opener / screwdriver
- big screwdriver / cord peeler
- Phillips screw driver like explorer
- Scissors

I would live well with Soldier Alox with Phillips screwdriver instead reamer.

I just want the option of a little bit nicer steel on the blade, say 154 CM. I love SAKs but no one can deny that they do tend to dull pretty quickly with heavy use.

Vic Compact with saw and plier layer added, also Stayglow scales with toothpic/tweezers/pen/pin.

I have a climber plus that I like a lot -- just wish it had a saw, too (hiking/backpacking backup tool). The only way I see it happening is giving up the double opener layer -- going with a slim combo opener to make room for a saw without losing either the main blade or the scissors.

Oooh Colonel has a good idea. There are not enough 1 handed slipjoints around. I think its the handiest for everyday use.

I want to see two knives:

Layer 1: Electrician's and mini Pruner blades.
Layer 2: Saw
Layer 3: Combo tool and awl.

Alox scales. Version two would switch the saw for scissors. Perfect for my uses for the woods, and for urban use, respectively.

And if there was a way to add tweezers and a pen to alox scales (I can do without the toothpick), it would be icing on the cake.

I always carry another knife so I don't need a main blade, but having the sheepsfoot and hawkbill as extra blade shapes is nice. Cut wood or paper, and open bottles and the occasional can. Everything I need a SAK to do, sized for easy pocket carry.

Super Tinker with a Phillips screwdriver that opens in line with the rest of the knife instead of perpendicular to it.

Add a pair of scissors to my Farmer, and I'd be set for life.

I have one of those, and it's my favorite knife. That said, I'm not sure I'd do it again. The weight is the same as carrying a regular Farmer and a Classic, so nothing gained there. The other thing is that I'm afraid I'm going to lose it and I'm afraid to use the knife hard for fear of damaging something. If it were a regular Farmer and a Classic, either is cheap enough to replace. Sure is a cool knife, though. The extra thickness makes the grip very comfortable.
