I have seen some knives with DESIGNER'S CHOICE marked on the blade.
A Vanguard comes to mind immediately but pretty sure I have seen it on others also.
What exactly is meant by that marking? Thanks in advance /Roger

Not sure exactly what that stamp signifies but here is a damascus 110. I know I have some others but would take awhile to locate them.

Nice knife, thanks for sharing. I'm sure I have a number of knives with the designation also. Funny how you can have things for a long time without questioning the markings.

I've got several of the early Pete s custom knife shop knives and none are marked with designers choice ,the only one I have with designers choice is much later about 2004 I believe, maybe a left over blade?

There was the
custom shop
Then Peet's custom shop
Move to idaho
A different Peets custom shop that was on Line ordering this was when designers choice was marked
Changed droped to custom shop again and changed blade stamp.
At least this is how i recall it went...

that is about it.. We did have the designers choice blades back in the San Diego days..hard to tell as we don't have good memories anymore.. It is also likely that we put designer's choice blades in other non custom products in a pinch...
