I've been infatuated with this knife since the first time I saw it on BladeForums. I'm a huge fan of easy open teardrop patterns. The bone color and the jigging are perfectly suited to my taste. The pictures posted by the previous owners have been superb but in person the knife really comes alive. The fit and finish are perfect.
My new best friend:D eschwebach (Erik) remembered that I contacted him after he snagged it on the exchange a while ago hoping he would let me know if it became available some day. When it was time for him to let it move on, he contacted me to see if I was serious..............The rest is history!

Wow- Clutch matey - now THAT right there is a wonderful looking knife, you have much the same taste as me as I too would have loved to have my mitts on that one - well done to both, and its great to see a fellow Tradionalists score a Grail!

Congrats on getting one you hunted for so long. It sure is a nice looking knife! That jigging is something else! Would it be considered bunt bone? That Erik guy is a top shelf fella. :thumbup:

Congratulations, Mark; it's fantastic that you were eventually able to get hold of that beauty! :thumbup::thumbup:
I've been pretty obsessed with EO teardrops for quite a while, too, so I can sure understand why this knife "moved your needle"; the jigging is especially outstanding! Hope you enjoy it for a long time.
