Here's a small desk knife I ordered at the 2011 Blade Show, delivered sometime in early 2012.

I've always loved this little piece, with wharnie Damascus blade forged by Mark, a "Forged in Fire" champion. The handle is stacked Asiatic goat horn & sheath is some really superb ebony.

I didn't know desk knives could be "designed". I thought they were the random scrap knives that didn't end up anywhere else! Now my desk knives look WAY under-dressed.

Coop, yes it has the round brass plug on the butt. I saw the one you imaged, which has a hair more color than mine in the horn. Great job on that image.
