Desperado

Picked up a cool Desperado in the pif thread. I really like the knife but I'm not familiar with the model. I did so looking and all I could find was there were 2 models a older aus8 made in Japan and the more recent 420 madein Taiwan.

Does anyone know when these were on the market. For that matter any other info. I never seen this before now and am curious. Thanks guys

I remember these. Last catalogue I saw them in was before 2010 if I remember correctly. Cool knife, but I like plain edges better. Yours will cut like crazy, though.
