My first ironwood. Love this wood but don't like the after taste from even just hand filing it. Uukie! I think copper furnishings compliment this wood wonderfully. I have another to post in a day or two with nickel silver.

This is a 1/3 Scandi grind but the picture shows it as less because of the way the knife is tilted to get good lighting.

Thanks for looking at this one.

Pictures of other side, tang taper and specifications are here: http://riflestocks.tripod.com/pics24.html

Very clean lines on that one and great character in the wood!

I've heard it said that grinding ironwood is like eating dog crap, doesn't taste or smell so well ;)

Is that a zero bevel you put on those?

Wow Roger! You outdo yourself every time I see a new pic of this series. And they have tapered tangs too!
That is a gorgeous piece of Desert Ironwood and your treatment of it has brought out the best it has to offer. Take a bow, Sir! Wonderful work.

well thats a nice knife ! it looks kinda like the Alan Wood bushcrafter designed by Ray Mears. I like the ironwood!
