Someone asked about a pic of a NO in an Okuden sheath. This would be a model A-2

I realize that I am following the example of my seniors (Chuck!) and posting pics of goodies intended for our inverted bretheren in the land of OZ. It is perhaps a bit cruel, but, "when in Rome...."

Mind you, the knife stays in the Great Northwet as it is on loan. I just didn't want to offend anyone (Spearhead) by showing an empty pair of "pants".

nononono....

I don't mind others having their blades uncovered. I am just protective of my own.;)

what a tease!

Not to worry my friend, you shall have my order a day or two after Blade.....;)

Gundy,

To borrow an explative: YOWZA!!!

BTW, did you ever get your Mini Mo?

Spearhead,

What happened to EEO?

never got my mini mo back, just a CHQ in the mail from Chuck for $2,750...the bastid...:grumpy:

I remember telling him "NO!, it is not for sale" - oh well...teach me for lending it to him I guess.

OKU - This is probably a stupid question, but..

I understand what the tek lok is. But what is the 'snap strap' meant to be used for on the other side of the sheath?

Thanks

rt,

The only truly stupid question is the one left unasked.

The loop on the front is for IWB carry.

The whole carry system is modular, as long as you can operate a Phillips head screwdriver. The TL and the loop can be removed so that the unit not in use does not interfere.

I always ship my sheaths with all the goodies attached. That way, I don't forget important parts, and the customer has a sample configuration for carry.

Thanks Bravado!

SH- Shame on you.

Gundy- I only asked because you would have had a sample of my work. Perhaps if you are really nice to Ian....(realizing of course that you guys probably don' live any where close to each other)

rt014 --

The snap strap is for IWB (inside the waistband) carry. The strap goes around your belt or belt loop to keep the sheath in place. :) I've got one for a 'coot and it makes for very comfortable carry, especially when moving through brush, since there is less to become snagged.
