Detent ball question!

Simple question. Is the detent ball titanium?

It is probably ceramic. I think titanium would be too soft.

When the knife is apart it doesn't look ceramic... I'm thinking steel. But I honestly don't know... good question though. Someone on here knows.

Hardened steel I believe, not sure what steel or how hard though.

It is made of hardened stainless steel. Unsure of steel composition.
