Detent help?

Hey guys, just picked up my second Emerson, a Roadhouse. I freaking love this thing its awesome,only minor gripe I have with it is the detent is almost nonexistent. Is there anything I can do about it
 
By non existent you mean that the blade pretty much drops out of handle. I would take it apart so that the liners are exposed a lightly and carefully press the detent in. By doing that you create more pressure on the blade, it will not come out as easy. Once put back together open it a few times to see how it effected the action. If there seems to be too much pressure simply open the blade and carefully and lightly press the detent the other direction. Not too much though otherwise your gonna have to go back in and start all over. Emersons are a little different, they have two detents as opposed to most manufactures only having one. You just have to play around with them, there seems to be a sweet spot, at least in my experience. take them apart and exam them...you can always put them back together. good luck
