Devildog

I have one. I haven't had much opportunity to use it yet but so far I like it fine. It is pretty big and the main pouch stands very tall. I read in some review that you can put a small laptop in it.

I did try to wear it while wearing a baby backpack carrier and it stood up too high.

If you are just going to wear it by itself it is fine and holds a lot of stuff.

I have two DD's. A black one that I use for daily travel and a green one for my general hunting/fishing bag. I personally like not having something on my back in warm weather and they ride well in the lumbar area.

If they get too overloaded, I put the shoulder strap on too just to take a little weight off the belt and reduce any tendency for it to flop when running, jogging or jumping. Wearing the strap is also handy when you want to open up your coat w/o taking the DD off completely (just undo the waist belt).

For really heavy loads, I've found an easy way to mount standard Alice-type shoulder straps, which turns it into a lumbar/backpack of sorts. Very handy.

great info, thanks. i'm planning on using while riding my dualsport motorcycle instead of an awkward backpack, sounds like it'll fit the bill  plus i was surprised at the sale price :)

$25 is a bargain for sure. I might have to wander over there myself...

I got a DD a few mo. back from LA Police Gear for 39.95.I swap back and forth tween that and a Jumbo Versipack I got for $15;-D

Yikes, how did I miss that!? Thanks for the heads up, saved me some embarrassment you did.

I'm thinking about picking up one of these bad boys. Do the side pockets cinch well around bottles smaller than 1 L?
