Anyone ahave any experience with these knives? I handled them for a bit at a knife show and was impressed by the quality of craftsmanship, smooth action, fit and finish. Definitely much nicer than the impression given from pics I have seen on various on-line dealer sites.

How do they perform as daily carries? How do they compare to other makers - Terzuola, Lightfoot, Emerson, JWS, ELishewitz?

Andres and Peters knives are as good as any of the makers you mentioned, except JWS(he is a cut above IMO).I own a couple each of all mentioned.

I have never handled Marzitelli, but I can vouch for John W. Smith and De Villiers. I folders from both of them and they are of the highest quality. My De Villiers Exectac Spearpoint is my main EDC. It is simply the best small one hander I have ever seen. My Smith is a large recurve folder and it is so smooth that I can open it faster than any other knife i own.

I have 2 Marzitelli's and consider him to be one of the best, he is definitely one of my favorties.

His knives have a great futuristic look to them and he has some of the best milling I have ever seen.

Fit and finish is as good as it can be and lock-up has been great on all of them.

Never hed a Devilliers and I've had better success with them than JW Smith.

Check my web page for some photos of my Marz's.

I carry them quite often and they've held up well.

As far as comparing to other makers he is as good as you can get and so are most of the ones you mentioned. It's hard to compare really..

Good luck!

Here is a trio of Marz"s stuff.Top knife has "lignum vitea" scales.Love it.

I have a few from a couple of the makers you have listed and received a De Villiers in the mail this week.As far as ADV goes it's as well made and surprised me at how smooth the action was.

anyone else find it funny that the question asked was Martizelli and ADV in particular? I mean two individuls who have taken the liberty of 'incorporating' the wave?
