Just thought I'd share an arrival of a different kind on my favorite BladeForums sub forum. This billet of 1 1/4" x 5/32" Devin Thomas SS Spirograph arrived on my doorstep this week and is headed to a knifemaker in Washington state to be made into a custom wharncliffe neck knife.
I currently have him making me one with a billet of Mike Norris fireclone damascus and cross cut mammoth ivory. This is a little photoshop mockup I did scaled very close to actual size:
Anyway, Mr. Thomas is a very nice guy to deal with and I hope to do more business with him in the future. I also really wish CRK was still doing SS Spirograph blades. What a cool pattern! Have a great week guys!
