I hope someone is busy hitting the send key...

Guys, these things are beyond sweet. I've got one of the Dhankuta Kothimodas that I bought to be my "retirement khuk". Silly knucklehead that I am, I withdrew my retirement to go to OEF, then reenlisted so I could go to OIF. But now it rests proudly on my mantlepiece, a reminder of past glories.

Anybody getting married? This one's a wedding cake cutter if I ever saw one. Any good engraver can put the bride and groom's names and their wedding date right there on the blade. Nice keepsake.

Y'all don't half step, or I'll grab this one. Heck, you never know, I might get married again if I can find a woman brave enought to tame me. :D

Yes, I'm here.

No I'm sure am not getting married, again.

Unless maybe she has a nice kukri collection.

<sigh> Just as well, I probably got as much chance of getting carried off by a pterodactyl as I do of getting married.

Nice grab Bob, exquisite scabbard, and I love the uncluttered elegance of the silver mounted Dhankuta khuks. Folks will definitely ooh and ahh over it.

Tried to get one of these with this exact scabbard 2 years ago. Uncle wrote that he had one, but only had the silver kothimoda scabbard, same as on the Royal Kothimoda, but would include it at the regular price. He called it a Royal Dhankuta subsequently. I was very glad to get it, and it is a beautiful scabbard, but always wanted one of these "regular" horn inlaid scabbards. Very nice work.

Good snag Bob!
