Here's a new one that's headed for Europe:
"Diacria" This is a beautiful knife, designed by a client and made to his specifications. The blade is a magnificent piece of O-1 high carbon tungsten-vanadium alloy tool steel, hollow ground, mirror finished, and hot blued to a deep, rich, blue-black finish. On the blade, I've engraved his detailed and unique monogram, and my new maker's mark. The knife has a forward finger ring, and weight balancing milled and dressed holes that carry the design without sacrificing strength. The front bolster has a sculpted and polished face, and both mirror-finished nickel silver bolsters are dovetailed to hold the gorgeous scales of hard, polished Polvadera Jasper gemstone. This stunning piece rests in a hand-carved and tooled sheath, made from 9-10 oz. leather shoulder, artfully inlaid with ringmark lizard exotic skin, and hand-stitched with polyester sinew, lacquered and sealed.
Here are both sides of the Jasper-Agate handle:
Here's a close up of the blade engraving and my new maker's mark:
There is more information on this knife on my home page.
