Does anyone know if the Diamond will be x-coarse and use the same special diamond as used by DMT? Or the type that break away easily?

The problem is, I think, with the substrate. The diamonds pull away from the substrate. This does not appear to a problem with DMT.

We'll be using a good substrate on a solid steel triangle. The diamonds should hold at least as well as any competitive product.

Cool!

BTW any idea as to price, coarseness and availablity?

I have soooooo many blades I want to bring to the 20% bevel. God my MOD CQD being the worst. I spent over and hour with the sharpmaker and a DMT coarse stone layed over it and still only got about 60% finished. I gave up in the end and used the Ultra Fine stone to toutch it up instead. I wish ALL knife co's would use 20% as the standard angle.
