Diamond sleeves?

I know this has been beat to death, but is their a tentative date yet when the sleeves will become available for the 204? I just got done sharpening my DDR Dominator which has a 420V blade and I am pretty much sick of it (sharpening, not the knife

). My carbon steel and ATS-34/154-CM blades are hair popping sharp in no time and even my BG-42 blades pose no real problem. This 420V stuff is an entirely different story. Luckily it doesn't need sharpening very often. I would gladly use a diamond benchstone if it was not for the recurved blade. Please tell me help is just around the corner

I´ll have to disappoint you Blademan 13. About a week ago, Sal mentioned that the Spyderco crue are still working on it.

Apparently, there are some problems regarding the small diamond fragments to stay put on the rod. But as I said, there will be a diamond rod Sharpy 204 in due time...

Hi Blademan13. As dePaul mentioned, we're "steady on it". Should have some samples shortly.

The plan is to make hollow triangles and that's been the hang-up. If we can't make the hollow ones, then we'll make solid ones.
