Diamond stone

I am shopping for two diamond stone,one coarse,one fine,both 8 or 10''
thinking DMT,what would you advise,any other brand?who as the best deal?

I like the DMT the best. I have the coarse and fine in the 6in stones. I glued them on peice of 2X3 (was 2X4 but I riped them to fit) to make two bench stones. Works well and it was cheap. The 6in stones were 19.99 each I think and the 8in were $44 each. just didn't think the extra two inches was worth it. The 11.5in ones (the next size up) are like $65. If you do decide to order smoky mountain knife works is shipping free right now and for sharpening stuff they seem to be the cheapest.

I found that DMT is better then Diamond Products. I suggest you Coarse and Extra Fine 11" Dia Sharp stones. If you are doing edge restoration or reprofiling - Extra Extra Coarse DMT is must to have - they only do 8" to my knowledge.

I just recently bought a set of 3 DMT stones in a weed box. I got an awesome Christmas special deal 0f $69.95. The stones are great, I love them, they're better than I hoped for. Hope this helps.
