First post here so bear with me guys. I've been tnhinking of buying the work sharp guided sharpening with the upgrade kit. His would be an upgrade for a lansky 5 piece set that I've become rather proficient with using as a regular stone (not using the guide), I found a DMT folding fine stone at my dads that was brand new so I made it mine lol. Anyways I've tried numerous times to use it and it seems that I've gotten a knife sharp or sharper once with it, every other knife becomes dull with it.. really discouraging. Am I doing anything wrong (not changed anything technique wise) I really would like a full size set of something and the work sharp seemed right for me but I'm afraid of diamonds right now.
