Hey, BF.

Just picked up a like new Dice from a great guy here on the forumn. Great little knife from what I've seen so far. I'm a lefty though and tried to move the clip to the carbon scale side and to my surprise the screws won't catch the threads.

If I screw them in directly they are just long enough to catch. Running them through the clip however makes them too short to catch the threads.

Not a big deal but I've never seen Spyderco miss something like this before. I'm curious if someone just used the wrong screws at the factory of if a whole batch escaped this way.

Anyone had the same issue?

Are you sure they're the original screws that came with the Dice?
Sometimes folks install aftermarket clips and the original screws get mixed up with other spare parts and the wrong ones get reinstalled.
Just an option for consideration.

Just an update but I contacted Spyderco and they are sending me longer screws. No questions asked.

Never had a reason to deal with their customer service but it seems as well made as their knives. Got to love a company that takes care of their customers.

Got the new, longer "left handed" screws today, also included was a Spyderco sticker and a tube of Loc-Tite.

Great customer service, thanks Christy and Sal!

Thanks man! Not sure what knife is next on my list but it will be a Spyderco. Got to support a brand that supports its customers.

Their customer service is top notch and you'll probably have more than a few Spyderco's before too long
