Dice vs Squeak.

I have myself a quandry i fancy the heck out of a Dice, but i live in the UK where the Dice is an illegal carry but dont worry to much about that, my question is , i have a Squeak cost $87 should i buy a Dice cost $355, i had a Sage 1 and i believe it is one of the best knives Spyderco ever produced, going by the pictures i have seen the Dice is as well made, the blade on the Squeak is a little smaller but is the same leaf shape that is on the Dice and out performed by my Manbug on a regular basis.So what to do ? my brain says "Screw the Dice and the Squeak just carry that Manbug", but my heart says," i do want that Dice with its fancy handle scales and that spiffy flipper".Clearly i need help so over to you fellow sufferers...
 
That is quite a price difference. If you have no worry of legality and have extra coin burning a hole in the wallet, get the Dice. I'd never spend that much on the Dice though. Can you not shop a place in the Us that will ship you the item and you can save about half?
 
Thanks for the thought, but the postage which varies from about $5 to $50 according to how it is sent is one thing and i dont like to risk a high value item to basic post, then when it gets to the UK import tax plus handling is added before you can get it and this brings the price way up, add to that the worry that it will go missing in transit and my nerves are going to be way frayed. So upon reflection i will continue to carry my favourite Manbug and keep an eye on the UK forums for a Dice for sale..
PS maybe i will get a Chaparral they cost about $175 over here, i think that is nearer to US price ?

The Chaparral is a very nice knife, the CF version runs about $100-$110 here. It's a very nice and slim piece, plus is has vy good blade steel.
 
Thanks for the reply, i think i can live with the price difference, it will cover postage and tax plus i get the day after ordering. Just looked at the site i buy from and they are out of stock so will have to wait a while..
