So here are the first pics of my BK-2 "Die dicke Bertha" - Big Bertha

bk2 1600 1.jpg

It is usually accompanied by a Dozier Hunting Folder which fits into the sheaths frontpouch quite good and is a very reliable knife at a really reasonable price

Here is a pic of Bertha while we were on a little vacation in the Ardennes (Belgium). In this pic the Ka-Bar micarta scales are mounted.
I batoned through some big pieces of fir which were pretty resinous and made the blade a sticky mess

Sweet blades. I have a Dozier folder as well. I like it, but I found the steel to be a bit on the soft side. Had to sharpen it frequently.

Yes...but as it´s pretty easy to sharpen I don´t mind. I think it´s the knife I use the most
Very easy to sharpen. Don't get me wrong, I still like it.

Here's a few pics of mine. A little more banged up now:

I have always been interested in the Dozier folder just never pulled the trigger.

i won one here (Dozier folder) when i first joined BFC. I was so happy. Mine has sentimental value. I actually gave it to my wife and its what she carries around in her purse. She has told me that it comes in very handy and she uses it quite a bit at her job to cut her food, boxes etc. I still love my BK2

Good job getting the micarta scales. It's my favorite upgrade on any Becker knife. I'd say that micarta makes any Becker ay least 20% better.

Here is one of my 14s. I used 2 different paracord colours. It's a little hard to see as the colours are very similar....at first I just wanted to wrap it with one colour but then I found a nice how to video which demonstrated a double coloured wrap
