Thought I would share it. I was at the flea market and saw this really inexpensive knife with that belt clip and thought I could get it to fit on the sog. Had to do a little bit of sanding and it fits perfect. The clip stays flush with the medal that holds the pliers together so it doesnt move even when the pliers are deployed.

Then I removed the socket adapter that I never use. Ordered a few more tools and took a extra philips like the one above and turned it into a fine flat for more smaller screws.

The screwdriver is really good for getting those little screw out of the towel holder ends and things like that.

Took this bottle opener and doubled its use by making it into a chizel also like the Swiss tool. And it really works good!

Bought a extra full size flat head and made it into a medium size flat head. Ground down the sides and made it just a little bit thinner at thw tip.

And finally I asked Sog if they could make me a double sided blade without serrations. This blade is much better than the stock one. Also bought some fine brass washer to slip between the blade and the other tools. So now I can open it without a clump full of tools. Put one washer on the between the file also for no clumping.

Now I have my customized multi tool just for me.

Excellent work s. serafin! And nice pictures too!
That is one of the great things about SOG tools; a person can take them apart without special tools, exchange or modify the blades, then reassemble it back together.

can i get an overhead view (where you can see into the handle) of how you arranged the tools in them? like how you ordered them and so forth?
That looks really sweet and I'm trying to implement some of the ideas into my powerlock...

Thanks
phil
