I did try and snap some pictures for those who don't like videos. But I couldn't accurately show the results with my camera.

That 1660cb looks pretty cool. Im working on my Storm II, hoping for a mirror polish. Thanks for the encouragement

That looks really good! I'd be up for checking out a vid of you explaining how you did it.

I am really impressed with that polishing job, so what power tools did you use, and how long does it take by hand?

I always thought it looked real nice having a polished blade, but it does show its use poorly, but if its pretty easy to touch it up again, that might change my mind about the whole thing.

No power tools at all! Thats the beauty of it :). I will be uploading a video shortly showing how I do it. The whole video is like five minutes.

Awesome neat effect. Thanks for the tutorial video.

And because its easy and by hand you can do cool things like mask portions of the blade with masking tape to give patterns. If you use a harder srufce than a towel/rag then you can avoid the effect of making a slight groove like you see in the composite leek blade where the softer braze wore slightly faster. Or course if you want that effect then a soft surface is best. Just ideas for different effects. :)
