Did a lot of searching, couldn't get a sure answer: Can CGG knives be refurbed?

Hi guys, I am considering my first Sebenza and I found a CGG model that I like, however I intend to use the knife and would like the option to send it to the spa for refurb in a couple of years or whenever. I searched around quite a bit but I couldn't get a positive answer on whether CRK will refurb a CGG knife (or if they even can).

So what's the verdict? :o

Thanks in advance.

I've had them refurbish/repolish graphic Sebe's that didn't have a cabochon or any other protruding features. I was told that they can re-anodize colors too but that costs extra and the color match isn't guaranteed. Silver contrast graphics that blend sand-blasted finishes with carved, shiny titanium can't be refinished.

I have a buddy who has a CGG. Here carried everyday for years. It literally looked like it was dragged behind his car down a gravel road. He sent it in for a spa, it came back looking like 98% new. I was blown away at how beautiful it looked .

I wish I would have taken before/after pictures!

I sent in a Moon Song in December of last year. It was a user with surface scratches on the front scale and needed to be reanodized.

The knife came back looking Much better...better than I expected. CRK didn't charge me for the work on the front scale and sharpened the knife.

If you plan on sending in a CGG with some ti on the front scale, I don't think they can tell you what they can do until they have the knife.

A CGG like Website or Riddled both have quite a bit of ti on the front scale. It may be ify with those 2. I have both knives and don't use them very often

because I don't know what CRK could do in a spa treatment.
