It performed very well and held edge excellently, as I made about 500 cuts or more .It could still shave hair after that and some of cardboard was really strong and thick.I tested this knife an various materials cutting wood ,meat etc and its my favorite knife along with Bark River Vest pocket bowie.These 2 cut and hold edge better than all my other knives that are in 154cm steel and also some in s30v.Cant wait for Phil Wilson knife to come out and also for Fred Perrin bowie!Few passes on strop and they are back to hair whittling sharp again.....
