Hello All, I was curious if all the largeaxe makers made the puget sound pattern double bit? I recently picked up a puget sound head with no manufactures stamp or tell tale color paint or eye ridges for that matter. It was only stamped with the letter Y. It seems to be good steel. I'll post a pic when I have time to learn this forums pic procedures.
Thanks for the help!

Cheers

View attachment 619137 see if this works, it measures 11.5 in and weighs 4lbs. I just got a Mann puget sound very similar which chops like demon on wet/frozen knotty P-pine. Now I have to source some 42" handles.

1. Maybe Settings(upper right of screen)>General Settings>Thread Display Options>Show Images

2. Scroll down to Miscellaneous Options>Enhanced Attachment Uploading>”on”

*I don’t remember if these were default set to on or off to begin with but this looks relevant.
* Also, I didn't use it or look at it before I upgraded my membership so I can't say if it's different.

Your attachment # looks good but it's not linking - hope that helps.

The attachment doesn't work for me. DM
I am guessing these setting are browser setting (Chrome, I.E., Firefox, etc.)?

Do you know if there are any such options in Tapatalk ? I don't see these options in my version of Tapatalk and also can not see the image in the post above.

Do others see the image above?

What I see looks like it represents a broken image link. The same thing I get when I attempt to post an image link from Instagram for example. I've been wondering if there is a way to solve my problem, which appears my have same root issue.

I would appreciate any links or images to info related to Puget Sound axe. My wife's grandfather had a mill on Puget Sound (in Port Gamble) back around the 1930's.

As a Gold Member you should be able to post pictures and or link to images, etc. The address for the image will be placed between two descriptors when you enter it. There is an image icon that should bring up a window where you either insert an image URL or the location image is stored. Non-paid members can only use links to off-site hosted images (Photo Bucket, Flicker, Picasa, etc.)

Hope this helps ...
Regards,
